Hello all! This short article popped up in my email and it quotes Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI or Joseph Ratzinger as some may know him. Beauty the Enemy of my Doubt is the article, and If I'm understanding poetic knowledge correctly, I believe Ratzinger's words cited in this article speak to the importance of it. The article is from 2016, but my email just sent it today. An excerpt: "But to move from here to disdain or to reject the impact produced by the response of the heart in the encounter with beauty as a true form of knowledge would impoverish us and dry up our faith and our theology. We must rediscover this form of knowledge; it is a pressing need of our time." (I'm not sure why the font is a different size. sorry) Enjoy!
